During summer season, there are at least 2 daily departures from Split to Ancona, and the other way around. The weather was calm and sunny and the sea looked flat, however, this did not make for a smooth ride on the SNAV passenger ferry! Many people got very seasick (the staff spent most of the trip handing out and disposing of bags) and lots of people were very freaked out by the strong movement on the very slight waves.
